SearchStudio Privacy Policy

SearchStudio is a local search and AI-visibility service operated by Buji Enterprise LLC, doing business as Bujify, 860 Jupiter Park Dr, Jupiter, FL 33458 ("Bujify", "we", "us"). SearchStudio is built and hosted for us by Zoti. Marketing agencies ("Agencies") use SearchStudio to track and improve how their customers ("Clients") appear on Google and in AI assistants, and to report on it. This policy explains what personal data we process and why. It applies to SearchStudio only; the rest of our website is covered by the Bujify Privacy Policy.

1. Who controls the data

• For data about Agency staff and billing, we are the controller.
• For data about an Agency's Clients and their customers (for example, reviews and review requests), the Agency is the controller and we are a processor acting on the Agency's instructions.

2. Data we collect

• Account data: name, email, role, and agency and client memberships.
• Business details: information about each Client business, such as name, address, phone, website, services, service areas and opening hours.
• Google account data: when an Agency connects a Google account, we receive an access token and the account's email address. With Google Business Profile access we read and, when approved, update the business profiles that account manages: business information, reviews and review replies, posts, and performance data. With Blogger access we publish approved articles to blogs the Agency manages. Tokens are encrypted at rest and never shown to other users.
• Search data: public search results, map rankings, AI assistant answers, keyword search volumes and website link data about the Client and its competitors, obtained from data providers and public web pages.
• Customer contact details: if a Client uses review requests, the names, emails or phone numbers of its customers that the Client provides, used only to send those requests.
• Usage and technical data: log data, device and browser information and error reports, to keep the service secure and working.

3. How we use it

To provide the service (track visibility, keep business profiles accurate, draft content and replies, publish what was approved, and produce reports), to secure it, to support users, to bill Agencies, and to meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal data and do not use it for advertising.

4. Google API data

SearchStudio's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically, we use Google user data only to provide and improve the user-facing features described above; we do not transfer it to others except as needed to provide those features, to comply with law, or as part of a merger or acquisition; we do not use it for advertising; we do not use it to train generalized AI or machine-learning models; and no person reads it except with the user's permission, for security purposes, to comply with law, or when it has been aggregated and anonymized. You can revoke SearchStudio's access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

5. AI processing

Some features send business details, reviews and search data to Anthropic to draft content, replies and reports. Anthropic processes this data to return results to us under its API terms and does not use data sent through its API to train its models. AI drafts are checked against the business's real details, and anything sensitive is reviewed by a person before it is published.

6. Sharing

With service providers that host or run SearchStudio (Supabase for the database, Netlify for hosting, Resend for email, DataForSEO for search data, Anthropic for AI drafting), with Google when publishing approved changes to a business's own profile or blog, with the Agency that manages your account, and when required by law. 7. Retention and deletion

We keep data while the account is active. When an Agency disconnects a Google account, its tokens are deleted immediately. When an Agency closes its account or removes a Client, related data is deleted within 30 days, except where the law requires us to keep it (for example, invoices). See Data Deletion.

8. Security

Encryption in transit (HTTPS) and at rest for access tokens, access limited by role, agency and client, separation of each agency's data at the database level, and regular backups.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may access, correct, delete or export your data, or object to processing. Contact team@bujify.com. If your account is managed by an Agency, we may forward your request to them.

10. Where data is stored

SearchStudio's data is stored in the United States (Supabase, us-east-1) and served through Netlify.

11. Children

SearchStudio is a business tool and is not intended for anyone under 16.
