SocialStudio Privacy Policy

SocialStudio is a social media management service operated by Buji Enterprise LLC, doing business as Bujify, 860 Jupiter Park Dr, Jupiter, FL 33458 ("Bujify", "we", "us"). SocialStudio is built and hosted for us by Zoti. Social media agencies ("Agencies") use SocialStudio to create, approve, schedule and publish content and to view analytics for their own customers ("Clients"). This policy explains what personal data we process and why. It applies to SocialStudio only; the rest of our website is covered by the Bujify Privacy Policy.

1. Who controls the data

  • For data about Agency staff and billing, we are the controller.
  • For content, social accounts and data about an Agency's Clients and their audiences, the Agency is the controller and we are a processor acting on the Agency's instructions.

2. Data we collect

  • Account data: name, email, password (stored hashed), role, and agency and client memberships.
  • Connected social accounts: when a user connects Facebook, Instagram, Threads, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, Google Business Profile or Pinterest, we receive access tokens and basic profile or page information from that platform. Tokens are encrypted at rest and never shown to other users.
  • Content: posts, captions, images, videos, comments, approvals and files uploaded to SocialStudio.
  • Platform data: post performance metrics, and comments and direct messages on connected accounts (to show them in SocialStudio), and, if an Agency connects a Meta ad account, read-only ad performance data.
  • Usage and technical data: log data, device and browser information and error reports, to keep the service secure and working.
  • Billing data: handled by our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers.

3. How we use it

To provide the service (create, approve, schedule and publish content; show analytics and messages; produce reports), to secure it, to support users, to bill Agencies, and to meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal data and do not use platform data for advertising.

4. AI processing

Some features send content and brand information to AI providers (Anthropic for text, Higgsfield for images) to generate drafts. Providers process this data to return results to us under their API terms; Anthropic does not use data sent through its API to train its models. AI output is always reviewed by a person before it is published.

5. Sharing

With service providers that host or run SocialStudio (hosting, storage, email, error monitoring, AI and payment providers), with the social platforms you choose to publish to, with the Agency that manages your account, and when required by law. A current list of providers is available on request at team@bujify.com.

6. Platform-specific terms

Use of YouTube features is subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. You can revoke SocialStudio's access to your Google data at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. SocialStudio's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

7. Retention and deletion

We keep data while the account is active. When an Agency closes its account, or a user disconnects a social account, related access tokens are deleted immediately and other data within 30 days, except where the law requires us to keep it (for example, invoices). 8. Security

Encryption in transit (HTTPS) and at rest for access tokens, access limited by role, agency and client, separation of each agency's data, and regular backups.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may access, correct, delete or export your data, or object to processing. Contact team@bujify.com. If your account is managed by an Agency, we may forward your request to them.

10. Where data is stored

SocialStudio's servers are hosted by Hetzner in the European Union (Finland). Some service providers, such as our AI providers, are located in the United States. Where data moves between regions, we rely on our providers' contractual safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

11. Children

SocialStudio is a business tool and is not intended for anyone under 16.
